Description
For use with seal diameters of 96” to 108” it is recommended that a spinner bar be used. Above 108” it is required that the spinner bar be used. This bar will rest on top of the expander at the expansion point and go across the diameter of the pipe to the opposite side of the band. The purpose of this bar is to ensure that when pressure is applied to the band, it will help hold the force of the expander head down against the pipe so that force doesn’t bend the band.
